    One of the last great "balancers" was Albert Einstein. I'm reading a good biography of his life right now, and while I do not adhere to all of his ideas, most are perfectly logical. Above all else, he hated tyranny, big government, and dictatorial control over people.

    Their noses would likely all become bulbous, as they absently poked them with fingers previously kept busy pecking at phones.

    I think that all of these are excellent points. I will have to agree that addiction to all of their gadgets is a great challenge. They spend so much time on them that they are not exercising their minds or bodies.
