I just looked at the pictures of the Nativity Scene for the Vatican this year, and it is pretty strange, as nativity scenes go.
People are not sure what it all means, and why there are figures that look like Sumerian astronauts in the scene.
Even the people (Mary, Joseph, Angels) are not even remotely realistic, and it is hard to say if there is even actually a Baby Jesus there at all.
Then, off to the side are the astronauts, or whatever they are. I wonder what the Vatican is trying to tell us with this odd nativity scene ?

    Check out this link Yvonne.
"The Nativity set was made between 1965 and 1975 as part of a 54-statue collection created by students and teachers of the “F.A. Grue” Art Institute in Castelli, a town in Italy’s Abbruzo region that was known for its ceramics as early as the eighth century B.C. According to a Vatican press release, the Nativity scene is an ode both to contemporary art and to Abruzzo’s cultural history. Since 2012, the scene has highlighted artists and materials from a different part of Italy: Recent years have included a terracotta Nativity and one made of sand".

Traditionally, the Holy Child isn't placed in the nativity scene until Christmas Eve. Maybe they're waiting until then; it will be interesting to see their interpretation of Him.

    From the same webpage:

"“It has nothing uplifting or transcendent about it. After a year of ugliness, the least they could have done was offer some beauty,” continued Lev in a subsequent Tweet. “This is shapeless, unappealing and unworthy of the joy we are trying [to] muster after this difficult year.”"

p.s. also remember that the world babylon is seeking/ preparing a welcome for space alians/ space visitors-creatures for the last 40 years, in case they show up.....
btw, a lot can be accomplished with holograms too....
