Can anyone tell me why some video links expand to the video itself and why others just remain as text?
The forum will embed media from the following sites: Dailymotion Facebook Liveleak Metacafe Vimeo YouTube
After I posted that, it occurred to me that Dwight didn't mean that particular link, so your response was much more helpful.
In glancing through that article, I think they did verify through DNA testing that dingoes are dogs (just as wolves are), and have had their ancient lineage kept pure due to geographic isolation (Australia being their Galapagos Island.) So what caused an article on dingoes to cross the screen of a guy from Maryland?
The dingo experts in the article seem to be defining "dogs" not just as animals that can mate with each other, but in dingos as differing form dogs in the sense that they. are wild animals..That doesn't make for the clearest differentiation to me, either. The DNA similarities should be enough to define dingos as dogs. John, I spend a lot of time on my computer and I look at videos and articles about everything under the sun and follow any link that arouses my curiosity. The dingo article popped up in a display of suggested articles on my DuckDuckGo search page.I'm a dog and cat lover from way back.
To the extent that man-assigned taxonomies means anything... The Dingo is Canis lupus dingo Domesticated dogs are Canis lupus familiaris And as I type those words, I see a link in the Domestic Dogs Wiki page to another Wiki article titled Taxonomic debate – dog, dingo, and New Guinea singing dog Perhaps that debate was referenced in your article. I did not slug through it. Regarding DuckDuckGo, I'm a fan of their articles as well. There always seems to be at least one that entices me to click that link.
Hal, That's Harrison Ford in younger days. As I explained to someone else earlier, I post his picture for a good reason. We are both very handsome but I'm even better looking than he is. I'm afraid if I post my own picture that some women will become obsessed with me and stalk me. Are you buying that?
Of course I'll buy that, Dwight! You're very new on the Forum, so why should I doubt your sincerity? Hal
