Martha Teichner interviews veteran character actor Sam Elliott, renowned for decades of appearances in films and TV, and nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in "A Star Is Born."
I might just try to see that movie. I really like the original (1937, Janet Gaynor, Frederic March). Watched it several times. Did not like the next two remakes at all. This one sounds good.
I just love Sam Elliot as an Actor and would probably really like him if I knew him personally too....to me he has had lots of "moments" and doesn't need any "trophy" to prove that.
That too Shirley...before I became a Christian....but now that is forbidden fruit so I'm going to have to pass on those kinds of moments. Besides my Honey refuses to share me.
I liked him, with Kevin Costner, as one of the Earp brothers. In, Did You Hear About The Morgans, Road House, Netflix The Ranch series. Married to Katharine Ross, from The Graduate, since 1984. She was in a movie with him as well. He makes one fantastic cowboy!
He's always been a favorite actor. Everywhere you go people recognize Sam and comment what a good actor he is.
