Just received an email from Lowe's in honor of those who are serving or have served in the US military and family members will receive a 10% discount on purchases with appropriate identification. Ends 11/16/2016. Also mentioned which I didn't know discounts are also given on Memorial Day and Fourth of July each year to honor the US military service, veterans and family members. I signed up for Lowe's MyRewards Plan earlier this year just because I go there a lot.
We shop at Lowes all of the time. They actually give any veteran or active service member a 10% discount all year long. We always get that for everything we purchase. They might be specially promoting it this year, and hopefully they will continue with the Veteran's discount. Home Depot only gives a discount on Memorial Day weekend, and also on Veterans Day, unlike Lowes; so we never shop at Home Depot.
