3 dead police officer so far
more BLM vengeance??
I don't know if this was related to BLM. Need more info, sounds like police were called to the scene.
Unless the preliminary reports are revised, it looks as if it was a premeditated ambush. Uh... well, all ambushes are premeditated now aren't they?! But yeah, set up specifically to kill cops.
Where the police called or was this person shooting where police already were?
Here's a quote from Gary's link.
A witness told WBRZ-TV, a man was dressed in black with his face covered was shooting indiscriminately when he walked out between a convenience store and car wash across from Hammond Air Plaza, according to Fox radio affiliate WJBO.
They received a call of a "suspicious person" and walked into an ambush apparently. LINK
Ok, I've heard now that two suspects are still at large,
Any minute now we should hear the usual speech from the big 0.
WTH is this America's new past time??
Well, it's going to have the opposite effect for BLM because police now will really have a itchy trigger finger...it's unavoidable.
maybe its time to trade those squad car's in for APC's
If it was BLM that's involved, there reputation is going to get even worse. People have been quite upset over the recent blocking of highways by the protesters. Both black and white comments were all anti BLM.
I've heard more and more websites and groups calling BLM a terrorist group now. It's not the way to get respect... it's the way to do violence and think you can get away with it.
I don't think they're looking for respect, and they are surely not looking for a reduction in violence. The real goal is chaos, gun control, a federal police force, and more federal power overall.
I'm seeing that some of the participants, the "man on the street" so to speak, truly do think that they're fighting for respect. Fighting for what they perceive as injustice (and yes, sometimes it is that) and that on that level, they really don't know the agenda of those who are funding the agenda for what *we* know is the reason, but the people they're getting to do their bidding really do think they're trying to fight for the "respect" of having their lives matter. Sometimes.... not always, of course.
Just my opinion, but I don't think a lot of the "trouble makers" for lack of a better term, know what's really going on.
I'm sure they do, in part because it's cheaper than paying all of them, and because you can't pay someone enough to do some of the stuff they're doing. The leaders and the funders are using them for another purpose, however.
the Panthers were there yesterday some secret meeting. connection??
@Gary Ridenour No,......it's the early beginning of response to our country having become a "police state". For example, heads of Law Enforcement agencies now routinely send their new recruits to "schools" where they are taught the ins and outs of confiscation of private property. Believe it or not.
Shortly after moving to rural Missouri, a guy in uniform came from up the road, stopped, explained he was the County Sheriff. Running for re-election. Told of his various achievements, which included sending his deputies for such training. He bragged of it, as though I should be thrilled to learn this.
He picked the wrong guy.
I never want to see the military in any fashion policing the daily lives of our citizens. Yes there are times that the national graurd is needed, or even the coast guard. But the day we start seeing and getting use to government control on our streets on a daily bases will be the day that is not America anymore.
@Ina I. Wonder
We are nearly "there", Ina.
The shooter who killed 3 Baton Rouge police officers has been identified as Gavin Long, 29, from Kansas City, Missouri. right here by me
Check this out:
"Cops Have a New Way to Take Your Money: Prepaid Debit Cards"
"It’s been reported that Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) is currently using a device called the Electronic Recovery and Access to Data machine (ERAD), which lets the police scan prepaid debit cards and seize the money on them if they suspect it’s from criminal sources. This isn’t drug money taken away after a criminal conviction, this isn’t a huge wad of cash you had sitting in your lap when you got pulled over, this is the police saying “there’s a criminal” and seizing the money on your prepaid cards."
the KC star claims a reporter went to his previous address here and was confronted by a man holding an AK-47
We have had race riots and protests almost every decade. Why now are we going to have the scenario of a police state?
There has been more violence in previous decades with more lives lost than now and your all talking guns taken away, etc.
This is the agenda I'm talking about that bothers me. Everything revolves around the fear of your guns being taken away. It's a constant theme on here with no proof that it will happen.
Actually if you google race riots you will see how much worse things were before. The 60's being the worst decade.
Nothing happened were not a police state, and we won't be now. Everything gets so blown out of proportion.
Yes, it's a tough time but it's nothing new,
Those cards are mostly used by drug traffickers, don't worry they can't wipe out your bank acct.
This is turning into an anti police thread it seems. Frank you seem to have the most distrust of police. Yes, there are a few bad ones but most arent.
Enjoy life without them, because soon nobody will want to be one. And if you think armed citizens patrolling the neighborhoods is a good idea, think again. That is the absolute worst scenario I can think of.
