Son : Great news, Dad! Dad: What's the great news? Son: You don't have to have to buy me new books next year. I'm taking all of the same courses again. ***** Father: How did you do on your tests today? Daughter: Okay. But on one, I was like Washington and Lincoln. Father: What do you mean? Daughter: I went down in History. ***** Mrs. Davis asked her English class, "Can anyone give me a sentence with a direct object?" Zack raised his hand and said, " Everyone thinks you are the best teacher in the school." "Why, thank you, Zack," replied Mrs. Davies. ":And what is the object?" "To get the best grade I can," said Zack.
lol, very cute. Stories about clever children are some of my favorites. I know most of them are likely made up, but in this style it doesn't bother me at all. I can't stand the autocorrect jokes because they aren't funny enough to overlook the fakeness. But these are good enough.
Haha, I love how clever children can be sometimes. For example, my nephew came to me last time he visited and asked if I wanted to hear a joke. Of course I said yes. "Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the ugly man's door!" Then he proceeded: "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "The chicken."
Kids are cute. I was on the bus today sitting across from a young couple with a cute little boy who kept throwing the keys on the floor so the parents could pick them up. He would look at me laugh and say oops and drop the keys and laugh. He was so cute, it was nice to remember the fun times I had with my kids when they were small.
Yeah, and a lot of them I forgot. Thankfully, I wrote most of them in my journals. And when my family get together, stories at the dining table bring back the memories. You think how the 29 years have gone my so quickly. Sigh...
Hahaha, I thought you were asking for one's classroom memories and I hate to say mine are not very pleasant to remember, but these stories truly are
I used to have a bottle of extra large glitter, (marketed as pixie dust). When the tooth fairy would come visit my daughter she would leave a trail of pixie dust from the window to the pillow. My 7 year old daughter says to my husband (at the time, ex now), "Dad? I think the tooth fairy is mom's height."
Hated school from kindergarten all the way to my senior year. My senior year wasn't bad. I seldom turned in any assignments that year, but passed all the written tests. A few of us would skip classes and sneak out to a car in the parking lot and smoke. All of us graduated, probably just to get rid of us.
Do y'all remember getting the perforated cardboard sheets with numbers and letters that you'd separate and put into containers? I brought metal pipe tobacco containers to keep them in. I'd probably get expelled these days for bringing 'tobacco products or paraphernalia' on campus. This was I think in first grade.
I remember! I loved those things. I always got excited over anything like that. I just couldn't wait to take them, and everything else we got or made in class, home with me.
I think we had less in those days, and anything new was exciting. Learning was exciting, too. We didn't need all the bells and whistles kids today have, but we still learned, and enjoyed it. I also remember learning to churn butter in kindergarten. I don't remember much else from the class, but I remember churning butter, spreading it on crackers and eating it, and it was the best butter I've ever tasted.
Oh, I've always been a sucker for this kind of jokes, even if I never could understand some of those. XD I guess I love the british kind of humor they have.
2 sausages in a frying pan. 1 sausage says "Geez, its hot in here". the other sausage says, "OH MY GOD! ITS A TALKING SAUSAGE!"
