There are miles to ride horses or you can bring your own horse. There are also luxery cabins to rent.
Have fun in the sun or shade or enjoy a an air conditioned cabin. Ride your mountain bikes, eade in the creek. It is a place I have been many times. It is a place one remembers.
I have only been to Palo Duro once, Bill. It was probably in the mid 1980s and we had a pop-up camper pulled by an International Scout. Those were the days.
Yes they were @Beth Gallagher. There’s been a few changes. I used to go see plays at their outdoor theatre on Friday nights.
If you checked out the silver content value of those coins, you may be the one who ends up with bragging rights...not to mention the fact that you might have something collectable there. I could post the silver content values at today's Spot if you like.
Thanks, John but I’m not a collector. Whatever its value wouldn’t help me. It’ll be there when my son or one of my grandkids go scrounging throw throw my stuff after I’m gone. I suspect there’s not that much silver. A few short years ago My brother came to visit and he went threw my coins and I gave him everything he wanted. He was a collector.
Awesome photos Bill. I love the southwest desert and cactus. If my health was better, I would buy a burro and desert survival supplies, then load up my donkey and haul ass out among the saguaro and prickly pears.
@Bill Boggs , come a day, come a day. My son had to be outside a few days ago and it was brutally cold and windy. (For us, anyway) When he came in that night, he said, "What a Day, what a day." It made me think of what your friend used to say.
I apologize to any, on the forum, I have spoken bad of, or to any I have embarrassed or messed up your thread. I'm going to be in or out as I can be. I hope you all stay well and your problems are not major. I am not leaving the forum but will around as health dictates. I don't know if I have lost any more weight. I have not beenable to step upon the scales with out help. I will have my son help me one of these days when he is over here. I may have gained that pound back. I'm trying to tie up any loose threads or thoughts I may have left hanging but it's hard to think or remember, see you all later.
Life is short, Bill. Eat dessert first. Damn the weight. Hang with us as long as you can. {{{{hugs}}}}
I am paying attention or watching two football games tomorrow. Baylor University Bears and the Oklahoma State Cowboys playing for the Big 12 championship. And, the Georgia/Alabama game. Also will keep tabs on the games that have a bearing on the final playoff games this year. Next year I’m going to watch Southern California come alive and win a few games.
Which team is your favorite? I never could understand football. My sons use to try to explain it to me but .... I guess it's a man thing.
