I came across an interesting web site called Our Pastimes. It consists of how-to information on a large variety of things, hobbies and crafts being a large part of it, which is why I chose to start this thread in this section. The information is categorized and heavily cross-referenced, with related searches and related content. Main categories include antiques, card and board games, electronics, fine collectibles, games of choice, hobbies, jewelry and precious stones, party games, puzzles, and sewing. Take a look at it - I know that I can spend some time there.
@Ken Anderson I should have a look. Lately, lax in delving into my own pastimes, I need a kick in the butt to get going again. Keep telling myself the pain in my shoulders will prevent......... pulling the transmission out...... unfastening all the multitude of things to raise and swing the engine out....... yet, this is the direction of my main interests. Crazy, huh? Frank
Thanks Ken.... I have just recently reduced my hours at work, and need something else to enjoy my time off apart from my photography and travel , so I'll have a look at that for ideas..
Thanks, I see they even have single cruises....have been thinking about that for awhile now. Doesn't have to be a cruise but any trip with a group of singles...preferably seniors will do.
I think they solicit for people to contribute articles to it as well, but I'm not sure. I don't know if they pay for articles, though.
I never heard of the game but have been invited to a BUNCO PARTY this afternoon. I did a Google Search to See how the game is played.
