Which of these do you trust and rely on most?

It depends. I can be the impulse buyer from hell. Did I need a new kitchen table? Absolutely no. Did I research every provider on my recent medical circus run? Absolutely no. Will I give the proverbial shirt away? Done it too often.
I can research something down to the gnats rear and drill through websites and legal jambalaya. It was a good run professionally but I am tired of it. Does something make sense? What does SO say who is the methodical side of our equation.

Just experience.
All the other options are inclusive with experience.

With experience I know how much to trust a gut feeling and with that same experience I know that what I read, see and hear can at times be faulty information and not an absolute truth.

What I think ultimately comes from experience which, in its simplest form amounts to measuring all things including the aforementioned assets twice, or thrice and cutting once.
And lastly, experience has also taught me that when (not if but when) I do not take the time to measure things correctly, the action I take will generally end up with some highly undesirable consequences, which, is more frequent lately than I care to acknowledge.
