What's for Happy Hour?

Sounds like a solid breakfast I would enjoy. A Coronita might just be the right size.
 
I like wine, some mixed drinks, and beer. However, I can't tolerate alcohol like I use too. Red wine causes nasal congestion in me and gives me a headache pretty quick; sulfates. I buy the little 4 packs of wine to have on hand for cooking so I can have a sip, or gulp from what is left over from cooking.😁

I haven't had a mixed drink since I was probably in my 20's but sloe gin fizz or sloe gin and orange juice was my mixed drink of choice back then. I won't ever drink a tequila sunrise again though! 🥴

I use to drink, but not excessively,except for my tavern days. However I can not climb on a table even sober anymore :LOL:
We have a bottle of Gentleman Jack we bought 3.5 years ago go ..still some in it I save it for emergency issues..after 2 family suicides, and death of family ,and friends, as good slug goes a long way when needed.It is for medicinal purposes. Other wise me kidneys would scream at me. I do miss me ole Texas LLano wine, one that was So good, However now it makes me cradle the throne in a sit down position.

This mornings happy hour will be peanut butter mixed with honey on toast and hot chocolate. I guess to make it an official happy hour, I will add a shot of unflavored brandy. I use to use Christian Brothers, but now I use a more sinful sounding brand and no longer hear gossip music, but rather senior age appropriate old George Jones classics. "He stopped loving her today, they placed a wealth upon his stone........"
 
AM Happy Hour is cheese sticks, crackers, Pelican Brief raspberry ale, and popcorn. Windows open and the smell of the light rain is almost coastal.

Nice, but not as much fun as being young, 46, 1996, and looking at the ocean while working on a second pint of ale at Pelican Brief Brewery after it opened. I was at their grand opening. Good food and fun! :sneaky:

Now, judging by some of the photos of events there, it seems, as my old Texas Auntie and Beth would say, they are getting a little hoity toity. :ROFLMAO:
