My wife loved that song. One of the kid's friends told me that it is a 60's Hippie song. I told him that is true. But it is also a 60's Christian rock song. He disagreed with me about it being Christian. So I looked up the lyrics and had him read them. Afterwards, I asked him, "Now who do you suppose is this 'Spirit in the Sky' they are referring to if not Jesus, since he is specifically referred to by name?"
