I woke from a nap in recliner went our tiny bedroom and yanked curtains down,stripped the bed and washing it all. Rods were black enough to mark bedding. Washed the rods down. Dusted window sills. Now on heating pad til I get me second breath.
I would rather be busy and hurt some than sit in recliner all day.
waiting on roofing guy to finally, and find out cost to landlady to repair.
Oh and get this . text saying attempted delivery, could not deliver the toilet tissue = will try again later?? We were here the door bell works..what does that mean?

I got off of my butt and did some of this yard work that I've been procrastinating on.
I did a tune up on my weed eater. Last time I used it, I could not get the RPMs above an idle, which in a 2 cycle engine is usually a clear sign the exhaust port is fouled. Nope. The screen was stained but clean. Installed a new air filter (the old one looked new), a new spark plug (the old one was dirty but not fouled), and a stupid fuel filter that sits in the gas tank and there's a hose on one end so the gas is sucked through the filter. You gotta bend a piece of wire and fish around until you snag it and then try to attach the new one with no slack in the hose. After I was done I realized that it would have been easier had I emptied the tank.
The tune-up fixed the RPM problem, although I cannot figure out exactly what I swapped out that fixed it. Maybe the spark plug was failing electrically???
I topped off the air on my tractor tires and used a special gauge that's made for fluid-filled tires (the rear tires have liquid in them for ballast.) I thought one tire had gone down and put air in it and could not get the gauge to move...then I tried the gauge on another tire and realized the gauge had gone bad. I bought a new gauge and put it on the rear tire I over-inflated. It's supposed to have 20# of pressure and now it's got 50#. I tried to deflate it but all the liquid sprays out. dammit. I'll roll the tractor out of the garage tomorrow so I don't make a mess and get the valve stem up to 12 o'clock...but that's gonna be of minimal benefit. Who in the heck would ever think of a pressure gauge going bad? dammit
