Hopefully the ER doesn't put you through what I went through, after having some shoulder pain and shortness of breath, unless they have a test result that warrants more study. The urgent care was probably just covering their tails, in the event it was a mild heart attack.
The ER may do the same if they have any suspicion and test indicate any possibility. Everyone goes overboard these days, because of a few mistakes in the past that led to law suits.
Let us know if they do an echocardiogram and the results.
If you feel good, then keep telling them and ask why if they want to precede with any invasive procedures. Sorry to hear that you are at the ER, that can be for hours.
