Things Found In The Bathroom (A-Z) Alphabetical...

Jacqueline, Vaseline was a staple in our house when my kids were babies/little! I used it all the time!

Shirley, sounds like both you and I dealt with identical toddlers in our homes! :giggle:

OMG, OMG, OMG... I remember Penaten Cream! Did you use it, Jacqueline?

I remember it was super gooey and was hard to wash out of the elastic legs of the rubber pants!

It worked well! I also used Desitin and Diaparene!

Old-fashioned sopping wet ammonia cloth diapers under rubber pants did my kids bottoms no favours, especially the rubber pants. Aside from diaper rash, my kids used to get elastic-gather rash from the elastics of the rubber pants, especially when they got older and were wearing extra-bulky diapers. Those chaffing elastics pulling, pinching and binding around the legs. "Rubber pants rash" is what I called it.

Knowing you used rubber pants, too, Jacqueline, did your little ones get much in the way of diaper rash/elastic-gather rash? Remember the red elastic rings the rubber pants made around the tops of baby's legs?
