How I remember the days, Kate! Dirty sagging diapers especially first thing in the morning! Pee-ew! 🤢

Understanding little ones babbling!

Baby diaper rash... down to the bathroom to get the ointment!

Rubber pants = diaper rash! Lots of diaper rash in the cloth diaper era!

Jacqueline, when you used to babysit was it old-fashioned cloth diapers or plastic disposable diapers?

OMG, OMG, OMG... I remember my mom using almost the identical one with my baby siblings, and I had one for my kids!

Gosh, Jacqueline, I think I babysat at every home where the moms used nothing but cloth diapers! I do remember changing a few Pampers, but old-timey diapers and rubber pants were in vogue where I babysat.

I remember the old plastic disposables sagged and bunched badly, the absorbent padding shifted, they didn't have elastic gathers to prevent leaking, and when you opened up the sticky tapes to change a diaper or check for wetness, the tapes would rip the outer plastic on the diaper!

Diaper pins! Ouch! Poking myself with these babysitting and as a mom!

Jacqueline, did the moms you babysat for use rubber pants over the plastic disposables? The mom I babysat for did, and when a plastic disposable wouldn't stay on due to tapes losing their stick, she had diaper pins on hand to pin the plastic disposables on just like a cloth diaper!

Those were the days...
