Thank My Driver

Thought I'd mention a promo that Amazon has going on during the holidays. If you received a delivery and it wasn't in a puddle or at your neighbor's house, you can go on Amazon and type "thank my driver" in the search box. It will pop up a screen showing your most recent delivery and if you click on thank my driver it will give the delivery person $5.

I have done this 4 times in the past week. It's kind of fun to have Amazon paying a little bonus to those drivers and it doesn't cost me anything but a little time.

I don't believe it works for those other delivery services, Yvonne. Amazon doesn't pay those drivers. You might go to the website and see what happens when you type in thank my driver.
 
As a little aside but still about Amazon drivers... earlier today I saw the delivery van on our street and the Ring doorbell alerted. I went to look out the window and noticed a silver Ram pickup truck kind of lurking about half a block away. The truck appeared to be following the Amazon van! It drove up in front of our house so I opened the front door to get my package and the truck sped away. I noticed that it stayed behind that van, though.

Made me wish I had one of those exploding packages to put out on the porch.

Our stuff is delivered to a central hub. I never see who delivers, but I have seen an Amazon truck occasionally. A lot of stuff comes by USPS because of where we are, but Amazon now has a warehouse at the Anchorage airport

Most of our packages aren't from Amazon drivers either, every now and then Amazon delivers here.
