Spoiled Dogs

So many people are losing their homes or moving into rentals now. This causes many dogs to be put in shelters, including pure bred's that are usually very expensive to own, like the two we adopted last year.
I've always got mine from shelters ,strays or like Foxy and Leo vets.
I don't know how the hornless people or animals will be treated in this new world now.
Shelters are overflowing and so are people in our streets.

Alice was a fearless wonderful dog, we spoiled her, she lived to be 19 yo she was a greyhound mixed with retriever, who jump fence and got with her mother who was a full bloodied greyhound; so guy at our vets office gave her to us. I still talk to her, every time I go by her grave. Great watchdog, who never lost a fight with other dogs; who made the mistake of jumping on her. When Marie would take her on her bike rides on a leash, on the road, and a vehicle came by she would always get between Marie and the vehicle to protect her. Marie would tell her to get on the right side of her, until she finally figured out what Alice was doing.

Alice was a puppy in Jakes picture above.
She was a large dog, Greyhound Retriever mix. Smartest most protective dog I've ever had and I've had some good ones.
Greyhound racetrack worker was at our vets office giving away pups that a retriever had climbed into breeding pen and bred with Alices mom.
