It doesn't happen to me all the time, but what I really hate is when it is a song that I hate plays over and over in my head; that's when it's annoying and no fun. Figure on this thread when I awake with a song playing in my head, I will put it on here and see if it helps to stop it.

I am more likely to get an annoying commercial jingle caught in my head. That REALLY annoys me. I don't wake up with them, though.

I don't mind so much when it's a song I like but.....
We encountered one of these……at least the smell of one……and both Bobby and I were going along with this song in our heads the other day.

With "you" on that, "Shirley", like the Elvis song isn't bad, but sometimes it's a terrible song you don't like, and drives me crazy all day like the one you put up.
I will be posting the crazy songs on here, trying to make them "stop".

Song in my head was this. At imaging office 2 ladies in their early 80s were in the waiting room ,I ask them if they remember this song, they both laughed and said yes.
Reason I know their age was they gave receptionist their birthday.

I had that one all day yesterday because we had a dead opossum in the middle of the road right in front of our house. I didn't get close enough to know if it's stinkin' to high heaven, though. Last evening the vultures came and took care of the problem, bless their hearts.

If you post tunes like this, you have to furnish us with bibbed overalls, a straw hat, and a stem of straw to chew on. Also a washboard and a couple of spoons would be appreciated.
Y'all weren't the only seniors singing it hahaha!

Reminds me of this one, my mother did this on stage in 1932 when she was a child.Dressed in straw hat and overals.
