Song In Your Head This Morning

I go through stages where songs out of nowhere pop up in my head, me often waking with them already set, and then there are the earworm ones that I loathe, where no matter what I do, for days and days after I can't get them out of my head, humming and singing the words over and over again until the songs drive me coo-coo! 🤪

Madge I too will sometimes have an aggravating song I can't get out of my head, that's when I go to You Tube and put in another one.
Although going online first thing isn't fun either.:)

LOL, Marie, I, too, cherish the moment when I can purge my head of the irritating earworm with something more soothing/appealing.

Tonight, will be freezing ' in the mid 20s', so I have lots of things to do today, to set up for 4 large dogs in the house.2 will be in one of the baths, one in a pen in living room.
I'll have to listen to lots of music to get in the mood.

So happy to know your pooches will be inside where it's warm.

We have friends that have two dogs and they live by the wood stove in their house this time of year, soaking up all the warmth they can.

Foxy is a house dog, Getty is bred for hunting in Argentina so she has no heat protection in winter. We did get her a dog heating pad for her bed on the porch, but temps below 30 she comes inside. The other two, Leo and Maisie have thick long hair, can handle cold pretty good but low's in the 20s they come inside too.

It was a nice peaceful quiet morning until I responded to a 26 year old "highly experienced" seasoned writer that is writing a modern day western novel and wanted to find a ranch to camp on for 3 weeks so he could make his novel more authentic. I tried to point out that since he doesn't know anything about the west or ranching, he isn't going to learn anything in 3 weeks of observing. He wasn't looking to work and to learn, just observe and find that magic that would make his novel a bestseller. He rejected my advise to spend at least a year on a ranch as a hand so he could see all the seasons. "Three weeks was plenty enough because he is a seasoned accomplished writer," He replied.

Well, the words of Tom T. Hall got in my head and I can't shake them. He didn't appreciate my reference to Toms song.
