Retro in my thinking

My favorite times were 50s and 60s. Loved the music and clothes and people seemed so much happier.
I love looking back, I can see myself so optimistic and enjoying working as well as fun time, which usually
consisted of me singing ! I would sing anywhere, even walking along in the street. Well I loved musicals and
they sang anywhere so why not me. I even sang 'Everything's coming up roses' on a bus !

I love the musicals, too. They were wonderful and magical to a country girl on a Saturday afternoon at the theater.

I thought I'd better add that I was 14 at the time - not 40
We have some young uns over here that love the 40s and 50s so much, they dress every day in the style,
hair and make-up too. Even their homes are in retro style - nice.....

My favorite music except for old country is from the 30s and 40s. My aunt gave me her old record player and all her old records from that era. It was a windup player. I loved the music. Later I ordered them on CDs for my CD players. One of the CDs is a 2 CD set, "The White Cliffs of Dover." One of them is a 2 CD set of Glenn Miller.
