Please, if you come across something that you think needs attention, let @Ken Anderson, @Yvonne Smith, @John Brunner, or @SOCAdmin know about it, either through a private message or, even easier and more effective, make use of the "Report" function at the bottom of each post. When you use the Report function, any of us can access it, so the chances of it being addressed quickly increases considerably. Please don't address it in a public post because these things don't need to be fought out in public, for one thing, and for another, we may not come across it at all. I don't know about Yvonne or John, but I don't read every post here, and I generally only log into my @SOCAdmin account when I am going to be working on something that requires administrative access.

Whether it's a thread you think should be moved, a member you think should be removed, a suspicious link, spam, or something else, the best way to get help is to use the Report feature. We don't remove posts or people based on opinions, except in extreme cases, but personal attacks and public fights will be discouraged. When you report a problem, we may or may not get back to you, but it will be looked into.

Please don't be frustrated if we don't immediately remove someone you'd like removed. We do tend to err on the side of inclusion. On my part, if someone is doing something wrong, I try to look at the intent, and I probably won't ban someone permanently because they lost their temper. Whatever it was they did, if it appears they are a legitimate member, as opposed to a spammer, I'd rather they simply stop doing whatever it was and get back to being a productive member. In real life, we've probably all said things we shouldn't have said, and I expect that to occur here as well.
