Fox and WSJ are reporting the Pam Bondi has been ousted, and that Lee Zeldin will be replacing her, with Todd Blanche as interim, whoever that is.

Interesting! I haven't seen that yet. Trump doesn't seem to mess around if results aren't produced. I guess it is a holdover form "The Apprentice".

Todd Blanche is going to be the interim AG, but it is still possible that President Trump will appoint someone else as a permanent AG. I think he had scheduled Matt Gaetz for that role at first, didn’t he, and then it would not go through the congress, so he ended up with Pam Bondi.
She apparently was passing information to Eric Swallwell about his impending prosecution for the affair with the Chinese spy, Fang-Fang. I remember reading about her before and no one seemed to care back then, but she has apparently since died in some kind of unusual plane crash, too.

No matter what the outlying circumstance are and were, I have the feeling that Bondi, Noem, Bongino and even Musk knew from the start that their positions were short term.

Rarely does a newly elected President walk in with a full transition team ready to fill all the essential Cabinet positions from day 1. Sometimes it takes months to fill those positions.
In order to make a quick turn-around regarding the political environment left by whomever ran Biden’s administration, Trump had to have highly motivated, high energy and focused people who could make it possible to hit the ground ready to go.
It’s like a track team. Sprinters are highly explosive runners and are essential to the sport but won’t last if confronted with a long cross country race.

Anyway, as things settled down and each department got on board with new systems and priorities being implemented, Trump has had time to evaluate a more permanent structure in the leadership roles.
Trump is getting really good at politics but he’s still a businessman and in business, it’s pretty much understood that transitional teams are temporary at best. I’m sure there are more who will be asked to either leave or be placed in some other capacity.
His sprinters have run their race and now it’s time for the cross country guys and gals to take their place.

I am pretty sure that Bongino and Musk were planned short-term position form the beginning. Musk is just too busy and Bongino hated being away form his family...and all the money he was giving up from his podcast. Not sure about Bondi, as he position destination in the private sector has not been disclosed that I have seen. Noem was fired for misconduct and for the mishandling of Minneapolis.

I am reading now that Harmeet Dhillon is who President Trump is going to appoint as the new AG, and that Todd Blanche is going to be out completely. Not sure if this is correct or just rumor, but it is what is on the net right now.

They are going after Pete for his chest tatoo.is it real?

He does have the cross tattoo on his chest, @Marie Mallory , and a “We the People” on his arm, and others, that I am not sure about; but I think they are all either patriotic or Christian religious ones.

Since he just supervised the most amazing and daring recovery mission in bringing our pilots back home from Iran, the liberals are trying to use anything they can say (factual or not) to try and discredit this hero who runs out Dept. of War. Pretty much, fake news is all they have, and fewer people listen to the TV news all the time now.

I thought the libs were insinuating he was a nazi or something.
They do look for things to make conservatives look bad.

How sad that some don't get the fact that very few here, if any, are gullible and believe in everything President Trump says and does. It seems some join to take away what joy us oldies, that love using our own brains and reflecting on our life experiences, get from a healthy political discussion. It is for this reason that other senior forums, don't allow politics, except lightly veiled liberal politics presented as current news from major liberal owned sources, that no longer employ journalist.

It seems it is painful for some, that although their coveted senior forum, silences any hints at conservative ideas and values, to accept the fact that this forum has returned and most members share basic conservatives values. While no two agree point for point, discussions that help keep our minds healthy, can be experienced here without ludicrous rules that are bent to accommodate the liberal duped and mind numbed parrot patrol.

It is mind boggling to me that after the previous four years where free speech by conservatives was being censored and almost lost, that anyone in the senior age group, can think ousting those in power that, ruled using fascist methods, that can be verified with a simple comparison, makes those ousting those purveyors of fascism, Mussolini or Hitler. It smacks of brainwashing and an idle brain worshipping idols because of their fame on the many sources of visual media that dominate our every waking hour.

Now, returning to the topic of Pam Bondi leaving her job, it is hard to discuss because of so many conflicting stories. When I see the media using words like "fired," I think, ok what is really behind this? Is there any facts verifiable other than she left her job and it seemed to be over her handling of the Epstein files? Maybe this was a planned set up so she could leave her job and give the Democrats a feeling of a victory. President Trump seems to like that method of giving something in order to accomplish a greater goal.

The last thing the Democrats want is the Epstein files released. Trump doesn't want them released because then he would have to order the arrest of former presidents, former and current senators and congressmen. He knows such a move while it would be justice, would create chaos in our country and now is not the time for our country to show instability.

Also, if justice was served, then some would need to be arrested and tried for treason over other matters. So the easy way to shelf such, is to remove Bondi and get a new person to replace her. It is a stalling game. I think after this falls midterms, we are going to see some surprising things happen, if the Republicans can hold a majority.

From the start, I thought Pam Bondi was a bad idea, but then, Trump does not have a good track record of picking the right people, and I have considered whether that might be because he didn't actually want to do all of the things that he ran on. Pam Bondi favored and supported red flag laws during her stint as Florida's attorney general, and supported other new gun regulations, as well.
