I am suggesting removing the club from the forum name. Somehow guys read dating club into that. No biggie, but PM's from guys that sign up for the sole purpose of PMing us ladies, irritates me in my old age. Whether legit or a catfisher, I don't have the patience these days for such.

I wonder how many other ladies here, received a PM from this wanker.

I just changed my profile avatar to a more seductive dating one.

I remember my grandpa saying, to never introduce a problem without a possible solution, so ....

Maybe change the name to Seniors Only Consortium and it would still be SOC. :)

Well, these guys only PM ladies with avatars. Beth pointed out this latest dipdoozle is so desperate he goes for ladies with cartoon avatars hahaha! Maybe he will try the non avatar ladies next, so don't be discouraged. :ROFLMAO:

Same here Yvonne. No dating offer, just the same as the scam emails I get, "Hi there (my name or sweet talk greeting) , how are you doing." I have no idea what they hope to gain from that except a response so they can set the bait for some scam.

I feel so special... I got one for Christmas! The name used was Gina Diana and I don't know anyone by that name. But it was Christmas and I was new here, so I read the PM. I thought maybe it was someone here. But then said she wanted help to say hi to my big brother... But he dead.

She was someone here, just signed up made a couple profile posts and disappeared, so maybe Ken realized what she was doing and banned her ? I remember the name.

Or maybe they're all bots out Phishin' for personal information? At least that is what I thought at the time, since she mentioned my brother that I thought I never mentioned, so I reported her posts to Ken and said "Spammer" or "Scammer" or some such... All the years I've dealt with scammer bots makes me suspicious when a family member is mentioned that you have never talked about. At least here, anyway... I talked about him on DiscussionHQ when he asked me a silly question.
He asked me "How can you live with all those Earthquakes in California?" I almost fell out of my chair laughing. My reply was "How can you live with all those Hurricanes in Florida?"

I didn't dig real deep, and it doesn't really matter except to know you're probably not being tracked around the web by your ISP (which would probably be dynamic, and no one would have a way of getting it here without hacking the data tables/Admin account.)

The only thing is that one of those posts was in January and the other was in February, which are after Christmas. You may have mentioned him earlier elsewhere.
