Monks Walk For Peace

Has anyone else been following this event? I have found it very informative as well as peaceful and uplifting.

The huge crowds responding tell me that many people are desperate not only for peace of mind, but peace on earth overall.

It is a worthwhile endeavor and will soon come to an end at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC.

This walk originated from Fort Worth and will culminate in D.C. The leader is from Texas. He is Vietnamese/American. Graduated from the University of Texas and was an IT Engineer. His story is interesting. His talks are very interesting. No proselytizing, just how to achieve inner peace and the like. Last year they walked across India. Don't know yet where they will be going next. The Europeans who have been following this
want them there.

I've been spending all my time watching this as I have been enduring severe hip pain for several days now. Not much good for anything else at the moment.
