Rubio comes of as both strong and competent in his positions in the Trump Administration, but he campaigned as a GOP establishment wuss when he ran against Trump in 2016. Has he grown or is Trump bringing out the best in him?

It is possible that Rubio realized that Trump was actually on his side. He certainly seems to be one of Trump's favorites at the moment.
