Hey, Smithy! Crossing over to the visit the old folks, ey!Hello everyone, I am new to the forum.![]()
Welcome, Smithy ! Maybe you can be an exception to the 50+ rule, and join in our conversation here ? You will need to have a first/last name, but it does not have to be your real one. You took good care of us for a whole year after our forum home here crashed, and most of us are still at both forums.Hello everyone, I am new to the forum.![]()

After puttin’ up with us for a year, @Smithy may have mentally aged at least 30 years. An honorary senior, perhaps.![]()
There are a few folks here who have known each other for over 10 years from another forum. Then Ken Anderson started SOC and the rest of us joined over time as you just did. The first iteration went away (over a year ago?) when the forum hosting service had issues, and Ken restarted us with a better hosting service, I guess a few months ago. It's small enough that people get to know each other pretty well, and we're still in reunion mode...but we ain't clannish.Have been hesitant about posting an intro, since most of y'all know each other.
