Hello? Hello? Is Anybody Here?

Let's see you are 74 and your son is in his 60s. That means you became a father somewhere at or between the ages of 5 to 14. :sneaky: Despite common male belief, us gals are good with math as I have just demonstrated. :ROFLMAO:
I adopted him when he was seven. I am only 13 years older than he is. When he was 13, I was twice his age. Now, I have friends younger than him.

The owner of another senior forum said several years ago that chat forums will be obsolete in five years. I think that may be true for the younger generations. But I guess us old farts will hang around for a while longer.

Forums are my choice by far. I have looked at Facebook, Reddit, etc. but those formats just don't make any sense to me. I like for things to be organized so I can follow a "conversation."

Maybe they meant those that had instant chat rooms. I hated those places. I forget the name of the one out of the UK that was always begging for money.

I'm on vacation, seeing some historic sites and visiting with relatives. Unfortunately, I've aggravated an old MCL tear and am hobbling around.

I refuse to let it slow me down but it HURTS. in a few days, I'm going to be touring a historic, and haunted, lunatic asylum in West By God Virginny and I'm not looking forward to the four floors I have to use stairs to get to. The next day, we're touring a coal mine and an old mine village. Then a couple of days later, a hike to a waterfall and a cave tour is coming.

I'll make it. I'll be moaning, though. You might be able to hear me all the way to ......
