Greenland

There appears to be a list of items already "uncovered" there, from old nuclear bases to odd geology, asteroid impacts, and long canyons.

Impact craters and debris fields are interesting for many reasons. One relates to historical climactic shifts and such, but they often prove rich sources of "core material" elements from nickel and iron to platinum, iridium, and rare earth metals.
 
As it turns out, Denmark praises the Greenland deal.
It does not transfer sovereignty or governance to the U.S., and Danish and Greenlandic leaders stressed it falls short of Trump’s earlier calls for annexation.

I like this part because it is pure Trump. He always does that. He floats an idea that sounds preposterous and has the media, the Democrats, and foreign leaders in a huff. Then he lets it sit for a while and settles on something less than what he had floated, but which is probably what he wanted from the start. It's just good negotiating skills, actually, but he does it better than most. Everybody believes that they've won something. Trump does it so often that you'd think it wouldn't work anymore, but everyone is so eager to find fault with whatever he says or does that they fall into it every time.
