Good Morning everyone,

Marie, when I was working at a hospital in Burbank, CA, Debbie Reynolds was a volunteer and ran the novelties kiosk at the end of our hall. When it came time to close up, she'd bring a huge cart with all manner of goodies for the patients to purchase before going to sleep for the night.
She was extremely popular with our stuntmen whose room was across from the nurse's station, and since we were about the same age, became rather friendly. We were talking about this movie which I had seen and was curious as to what she said to Donald O'Connor at the end of that dance scene.
She told me her heels were bleeding, and Kelly was a tough task master when it came to get each step just right. Since they practiced this over many times, she said, to O'Conner, under her breath, "aren't you glad that's over?"
Same place in Oregon where I can see Washington to the north and Idaho to the east. That is beautiful, @Faye Fox ! Are you living in Idaho or Washington now, if you can look east and see this view ? I was thinking that you were in Oregon before, but maybe I am remembering wrong.
I am envious ! I miss seeing Idaho and Washington, every single day.Same place in Oregon where I can see Washington to the north and Idaho to the east.
If I cross the river, looking west, I can see Mt Baker, Mt Hood, and sometime St Helens on a clear day. If I go to the top of the pass, I can see all the peaks, including Mt. Rainer, on a clear day. I love the coast, but quality medical care is too long a trip. Also it has become very expensive and not as friendly as it once was. I wish my health would allow me to drive HWY 101 from the Columbia near Astoria to passed Gold Beach. I did it years ago and enjoyed every bit of it.I am envious ! I miss seeing Idaho and Washington, every single day.
I loved living in Western Washington, where we could see three of the great peaks, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Saint Helens, and sometimes either Mt Adam’s or Mt Hood in Oregon, depending what the view was. If I could live anywhere, the northwest coast would be where I would live, somewhere close enough to go and wade in the Pacific Ocean again.

Did you sneak in and took a picture of me?
