I have to wonder: If having children is "too expensive" how did humanity even survive after descending from the trees? The myths and lies circulated by these witches are appalling. This one even trots out "climate change" as an excuse for her selfishness.

Poor people used to have more kids than those who were rich because they were able to help out around the farm or other businesses that people had. Now, we have spend money on them but we can't work them.

I'm certain that there are many reasons why people choose to not have children, and for the first time in modern history women have a choice. With birth control methods safer and more effective, a woman who doesn't want to be a mother doesn't have to be. This was not the case as recently as 50 years ago.

Young people are more self-centered, whiny and namby-pamby nowadays and can't even care for themselves. Still living off their parents in many cases, so how would they take care of children?

I remember years ago after I had my second son, my husband and I decided our family was complete and I decided to have a tubal ligation. In the hospital, my husband had to sign a form giving HIS CONSENT for my surgery. That still chaps me to this day. Things have come a long way for women, thank goodness.

What a laugh. "Duties?" It is no one's "duty" to have and raise a child. Too many morons have children who never should have had them, because they are ill-prepared emotionally, intellectually, and/or financially to raise a child. You need to worry about your own life and not push your agenda on others. A child raised by parent(s) who never wanted them is a tragedy, many times ending in abuse and neglect.
