Faith Talk

Tuck yourself into the arms of the Father,
and you will never be alone. You'll be cared for richly.
Your roots will go down deep into His love and stay there.

"The Lord will continually guide you, and satisfy your desire
in scorched places, and give strength to your bones;
and you will be like a watered garden,
and like a spring of water whose waters do not fail."

Isaiah 58:11

We can live quiet Christian lives, calling our faith "private"
or "personal"...which it most definitely is! But we can also be
unashamed and open about living our faith for the world to see.

"Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you
about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you
appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith
which was once for all handed down to the saints."

Jude:1:3

God loves each of us mote than it makes sense.
And He is the most generous giver of every good and pewrfect gift.
So enjoy your special place in the family.

"He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world,
that we would be holy and blameless before Him."

Ephesians 1:4

It can be so hard to wait. Never mind the waiting room,
long lines of traffic, or a much anticipated letter in the mail.
When the waiting we're doing is on God, it can seem like forever!
And how we handle it when the answer is one we didn't want?
Well think about this. An answer from God means that the God
of the universe is in relationship with us! He cares enough to hear
our hearts and respond. What a beautiful thing...God's "no"
may be a no, but it still shows His closeness and love.

"The mind of man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps."
Proverbs 16:9

If you're aging (as we all are) own it! You're beautiful.
and your wisdom is growing every day.

"We do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying,
yet our inner man is being renewed day by day."

II Corinthians 4:16

It's not your job to do life perfectly, But you can do your best
to love the Lord well through it all.

"Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks through Him to God the Father."

Colossians 3:17

"Forgiveness" as a Christian is the hardest thing for me to do. We at times will experience mental and/or emotional hurt. Sometimes it's done intentionally to us sometimes unintentionally. Either way it's a horrible feeling and I can feel the hate for that person starting to dwell in me. Then I'll think of Jesus on the cross he had both physical and mental pain and he's still exclaimed "father forgive them for they know not what they do."

Colossians 3:13 (NIV): "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave

If you've accepted Christ, then you are new creation.
The old you, replaced. The old sin, erased.
The Devil's work, disgraced by Jesus.

"May it never be that I would boast, except in the cross
of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world
has been crucified to me, and I to the world."

Galatians 6:14

It's countercultural and weird to some...
but we, as believers, are made to stand out and shine
as we lean back and rest in the Lord.

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
H leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul;
He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake."

Psalm 23:1-3

BLESSED PALM SUNDAY!

Every person on the planet is kind of like a seed.
A potential-packed package that needs the right environment to grow.

"You were continually straying like sheep,
but now you have returned to the Shepherd
and Guardian of your souls."

You have a Source to turn to. You have the Answer at your fingertips.
And you have the power to accomplish all things in Christ.

"When I awake, I am still with You."
