Do you think the US could be attacked by Iran, China, Russia, using nuclear weapons?

With the Iranian war going full steam ahead can Iran bring the war to America using nuclear weapons? Do you think China and/or Russia will join Iran and bring the war to America?

My daughter thinks we should stock the basement with things like food, water, flashlights, can opener and any other survival stuff we could think of including toilet facilities. She's concerned there's a possibility of a nuclear attack on the US.

My feeling is even if Iran had a nuclear weapon they don't have a platform to deliver it on. The only way I think they can use it is if they smuggled it into the country.

Of course it's a different story if China or Russia enters the war. They may work in the shadows to help Iran but I doubt they're going to want to enter the war.

I have a suspicion that Trump before he attacked Iran alerted China and Russia that he was going to destroy Iran and to stay away.

What do you think of the possibilities of the US being attack with a nuclear weapon in the near future?

I think Iran could mount a dirty bomb attack on the U.S. using the terrorist cells Biden allowed into the country, but I doubt a real nuclear attack is likely form any nation. China is calling for the Strait of Hormuz to remain open, and is not at all ready for war with the U.S. Russia is struggling with Iran, and might strike Europe if Starmer and Macron follow through with putting tactical nukes in Ukraine. Russia is in no way ready to tackle the U.S. It is always good to have stuff stored away for a "rainy day" however. Economic issues, natural disasters and other things (such as the Covid thing) make such prepping a good thing. Stores are like insurance; you hope you never need it, but, as you discovered, it is nice to have when you need it.

Russia is a paper tiger. Look how long they have been trying to take Ukraine.

Iran is currently preoccupied.

I think only Iran and Pakistan have been both nuts enough and capable of trying direct nuclear attacks. They are also the most likely to try using dirty bombs.

I think individuals here face more of a threat from "resident" Islamists and TDS-inflamed leftists. Despite their rhetoric on guns an alarming number of them are armed - even in daily life about town. Nothing puts me on guard like a woman carrying a purse. The female insanity level tells me far too many have a gun in there and believe "more equal than others" rights would shield them from prosecution if you just pulled it out and shot any random man. Many carry such toxic levels of narcissism and assumed privilege that anything is possible. Males grow out of this stuff as hormones balance after teen years, females not so much.
