Bobby got really dizzy this morning, could not walk, and was covered in sweat, pulse of 103 just sitting. I called 911, they sent paramedics and took him to the hospital. Bobby said he thought he might be having a heart attack, but he was not in pain, just really dizzy and nauseated.
Right now, we do not know what is happening, and I will update everyone once I have more information.
Asking for prayers, please……..

Prayers sent for Bobby .

Father,
We lift Bobby up to you, we ask that you put your healing hands on him. Give the doctors wisdom. Give peace to Bobby, let him know of your presence with him. And that you will see him though this valley of sickness. In your Sons precious name, Amen

I am praying that Bobby has a good doctor.

Sounds like a viral disturbance in the inner ear, or vestibular neuritis. Herpes virus are the most common causing dizziness, nausea, and balance loss. Acyclovir or Valacyclovir for the virus and Zofran that you dissolve under the tongue for nausea. All prescription so I pray his doctor has the knowledge to do more than put him on meclizine. If the doctors don't mention a possible viral cause, then ask them if any possibility it is a virus, perhaps the Zoster virus. Put the bug in their ear so to speak.

If it is the zoster virus and goes untreated, it will damage inner ear and possibility other brain nerves.

This is very common in folks our age. It is the same virus that causes shingles. I have been living with it for 30 years.

I called the hospital, and they still have Bobby in the ER and are doing a multitude of tests and bloodwork to see what is wrong. They said that the EKG did not show a heart attack, but they are still doing tests to see what is happening and they said that the ER nurse will update me on Bobby’s condition once they have more information.

He has been working on that house for our friend, so the whole truck is loaded with his tools and the generator and who knows what else; so I am not going to go to the hospital at this point. There is not much I can do there, and I would have to go back and forth to be letting the dogs out, so for right now, I am staying home and going to get updates.
I have let my kids know as well as Bobby’s brother in Germany, so right now it is just a pray, and wait and see time, I guess. Bobby was fine last night, so this is something that came on suddenly.

Yvonne, I'm very sorry to hear this about Bobby and I hope they can figure out what the problem is and get him fixed up. @Hedi Mitchell let me know about Bobby so I had to stop sulking long enough to check on y'all. I'm sending my best wishes and love to both of you.

I am at hospital with Bobby and he is feeling better. They are still doing tests and keeping him overnight. Do not know what caused this dizziness yet. Will write more once I am back home.

I'm glad you got to visit Bobby; I'm sure it was hard to sit at home wondering what was happening with him. Since he's being checked out by professionals I won't add to the diagnoses being offered; I just hope it's something simple and he will be on the mend ASAP. I'm so glad to hear that they have ruled out a heart attack. ❤️

I am back home. I put the uber app on my phone and got a ride home that way. They are still doing more tests with Bobby, and an MRI is being scheduled.
It sounds like they will let him come home tomorrow as long as nothing else happens or they don’t find anything bad on the tests.
He is feeling much better, and his color is back to normal, which makes me feel much better, too. He is definitely wanting to be out of the hospital and back home.

So far, they do not know what is happening, but his blood oxygen has been low and they had him on oxygen for most of the morning. When I looked at his apple health app, I could see that his oxygen levels have been all over the place for at least the last month. His BP is really high right now, too, and it was way too close to 200 when I was watching the charts by his bed.
Thank you everyone for the prayers !
