Answering surveys for gift cards, and other online pocket money

This is definitely not a job, and barely works under the income definition, but it is a way to earn some gift cards and pass the time. I have been doing surveys for a lot of years now, and most of the time, it takes a while to get enough points to even be worth cashing in for an Amazon gift card, but some of them do pay much better than others.
The ones that are a clinical trial for something usually are pretty interesting to do. Last spring, I had one that was testing dog food that helps calm dogs down. Poodle got to eat his special food for about 2 months, and he liked it, but I am not sure if he was actually calmer or not. He is mostly calm anyway, except when we go somewhere and then get back home, and he is jumping up and down because he is glad we came back home.
But I had a lot of dog food left after the end of the trial, and we are on the last bag of it right now, so he is still enjoying it, plus I got a $450 Amazon gift card, and used it towards buying a new iPad.

I forget to go in there lately, but I still do YouGov and have gotten quite a lot of Amazon gift certificates through it, although there are plenty of other options through YouGov, as welll.

I did a few surveys on a site connected ….to the Flybuys program , ( it’s called one pass ) it’s a paid for program $ 20 .00 a year ….think it’s $40 when I first joined , by staying a member you get auto renew for $20

when we shop at some of the listed businesses we get 5x ….the points and …..free postage at some of the businesses ( I just saved $12 postage buying items from Target that turned up today ( I ordered on Saturday ) …..at Coles we only get 1 point per $1 spent

I’d expect the flybuys would be a world wide loyalty points thing …??? were you get points by shopping in Coles/ Bunnings ( hardware ) / booze shops / Kmart / Priceline chemist / officeworks …other businesses

Anyway I did a few surveys on …. A site connected…. to One pass …to get extra points …when …. I did a few surveys…I spent 1/2 hour doing them ….and ..just as I was getting to the finish …..it would drop out ….and say ….this one was not eligible for points because it’s not in the age group we are looking for…
B.S ……I only picked out surveys for my age group…

My hubs likes Ryobi battery tools and most of our gardening tools are battery operated ….and we “ bought “ most of them using fly buys points….no cost what so ever …

even a $300 hedge trimmer after we’d accrued $400.00 in Flybuys to use instantly in Bunnings or the likes of the Coles group …
some required you to trade your points ~ into gift cards ….before spending at certain business ( via flybuys website )
