Growing fruit trees, berries, and vines

Went to check all the fruit trees. This will be another great apple year, a so so prune/pear year and a non productive peach year. The peaches seemed to have gotten freeze burned.:(

    Lowering drug prices

Still have hopes and appreciate what he has been able to accomplish. One man can't fix everything that was destroyed. Now the SAVE act was defeated meaning citizens will not be the only ones getting to vote, one way or the other. Guess who will pay for the drugs all need.

    What Are You Doing Today?

I have been to the chiro twice this week and she finally found something that helped me. This morning I shoveled out bricks of sheep manure from the run in shed. Daughter wants some for big flower pots to start tomatoes in 'raised gardens' I needed to take the level down around the stall...

    The Tractor Thread

That is what I figure. This is an old walk behind. I can't remember what the problem was. But she knew it could be repaired and the guy probably wanted it for parts too. Daughter is turning into quite the chickanic. This morning she was replacing a gas tank on a mower that a mouse had chewed...

    Lawn care

Being a wild foodie, I just let my lawn be what it is too. I would probably sprinkle some sulfer around for fungus. But mushrooms are fungus so maybe not. I go out in the morning to cut dandelions for my new guinea pig and violets which started flowering now. Was thinking of putting up some...

    Gardening

You can always drop a bag on neighbors' porches, ring the doorbell and run away. Kind of reverse porch pirate.

    Gardening

Pumpkin seeds are especially healthful food. Contain a good amount of zinc. Put up pumpkin for intestinal issues. We used it a lot in our pets since we don't care for it except in holiday pies. But Dave needed it on occasion.

    Gardening

Last year was so wet that I planted beans (big time) and they rotted in the ground twice. I am going to refigure the garden this year. I have a small raised garden at home that fed the rabbits and ground hog family very well. :(

    Stock Market

I worried about the same--leaving property to kids. I said, You are a tax guy. Do we need to go to an attorney for probate problems and taxes when leaving stuff to the kids? He recommended Transfer on Death deeds which you just file at the court house and updating the beneficiaries on all...

    The Tractor Thread

We have a dr trimmer for the fenceline. Daughter took it for some repair. The guy said he could not do it but she could leave it behind. She didn't. I had gotten a new one and it came with PLASTIC wheels. She will swap out parts if she can't get the old one going. We can rent a brush hog here

    The Tractor Thread

Most of us would know about what magnets stick to but have you seen some of the 'man on the street' type interviews of young folk on youtube?

    Lowering drug prices

Could it be that Trump had a plan to lower insurance and drug costs by causing competition after getting rid of Obamacare but Congress stood in the way of EO's?

    Repurposing!

I had a friend who did not carry anything when she came upon a loose horse. She used her bra for a temporary halter. :ROFLMAO:

Growing fruit trees, berries, and vines

Not fruit trees but I am kind of excited this worked. I bought a HUGE pack of moringa seeds (not meaning to) two years ago but hemmmmed around about what I could do with them in this climate. I broke their shells last week and soaked them and then just kept them damp. Even after two years...

    Home owners Insurance

I am pretty happy with our insurance. It is about 1200 a year for the house and about that for the farm. I was grumpy that they charge us for a separate garage when ours is attached. I complained and their answer was 'But you've been paying that for 20 years!' They did not take the added garage...
