    Retro in my thinking

My favorite times were 50s and 60s. Loved the music and clothes and people seemed so much happier. I love looking back, I can see myself so optimistic and enjoying working as well as fun time, which usually consisted of me singing ! I would sing anywhere, even walking along in the street. Well I...

Talking to Pets & Other Animals

Enjoyed your post Ken and so true. I have lovely memories of a special dog and a horse that I met in Ireland. Animals are so smart. Watching animal documentaries has taught me so much on just how smart they are.

Yvonne, your knitting results are so nice, I gave up with knitting - not that I could do so now. But I gave it a try years ago and ended up with 'more stitches' than I started with Using a creamy beige colored wool, rather thick too - a pair of gloves ended up like a ..... bunch of bananas ...

    Christmas Eve

We say the word pudding, for a lot of non puddins - like, we may say, 'what's for puddin' meaning 'afters' or the...

    Welcome Thread

Hello Yvonne - I wish I could say good Yvonne but its a very stressful time over here. The Government is so odd with strange ideas and we are inundated with strangers from other cultures. Our country is lost and the people lost also. Oh I sound too down, I won't do that on here, I will be my...
