I suspect that the White House staff will not only give the appropriate questions to the moderators but school Biden as well.
In the first debate for the 2016 election, it was Donna Brazile who handed Hillary the debate questions a week before the debate so it would be nothing for the White House to develop those questions in the first place and feed them to the moderators.
And, since the moderators already have a “huge” animus for Trump, I’m sure they’ll agree to do whatever Biden’s staff tell them to do.

Also, Yvonne mentioned to me that the possibility of having a Biden “double” do the debate might be mixed in. It might be a stretch but anything is possible.

I think Trump realizes the fix is in. Who knows? He may have a plan to use it to his advantage. Look how his poll numbers have risen as a result of all the "lawfare" going on. He is now leading among Hispanics in some pols and has a larger portion of the Black votes since Reconstruction I think. At least Black males are very pro-Trump.

There is however, the possibility that those leading Biden are looking forward to a debate for a sympathy vote.
Trump won’t hold back so I think in the end, the string pullers are depending on a bunch of virtue signalers who might come out of the woodwork declaring that D. Trump bullied the poor “aged” and mentally incompetent Joe Biden.

That all said, that’s if there really will be a debate which again, I doubt will even happen.

Trump has scheduled a rally in, of all places, New York City! In the wake of his huge successful rally in New Jersey, Trump has scheduled a rally in South Bronx New York. NO Republican Presidential candidate has dared to such a thing, perhaps since the 19th century. I saw signs there that declared Black Lives MAGA. Interesting stuff.

We went from a Trump administration of record black employment to a Biden administration of "I got new amigos, why are you still hanging around?" No place was this more in-their-faces than NYC.

Regarding the debates...Biden now wants them to be held with both parties sitting at a table, not upright at podiums.

As long as BIden is still negotiating, I hope Trump will as well and publish all of the negotiations. Often.

Yeh, the story came from the Trump camp. And of course, Trump will not agree to it.

I imagine the next proposal will be to debate from their respective basements via Zoom.

We all know that Biden's camp will have access to the debate questions well in advance so they can prepare Joe's answers. I'm sure he'll wear an earpiece so he can get the answers fed to him as well. There will never be a level playing field.

I won't watch any debate because they end up being a bunch of yelling and disregarding of the rules of order. Just a waste of time IMO. Trump is the WORST at bad behavior in a debate.

Yes he is but one of the requirements is a mute button on Trump. I think he could have always used one. And on his tweets as well:rolleyes:

I'm sure that won't keep him from yelling across the stage like a 5 year old.

Trump is down by only 9 points in New York now, likely thanks to its obvious kangaroo courts.

Debates aren't what they used to be, but I was glad I was able to attend one of the debates with Perot back in '92.

Most of the debates in that election cycle can still be found on YouTube.
