Busy day, steering gear didn't show until today, it was supposed to have come yesterday. Came at 5 o'clock today. I started taking the old one off, and got down to Pitman Arm, and what a bugger it wants to be. Everything is off except that, so I will get the puller in the morning and get it off, then start putting new steering gear on. I hope your day was good. :)

I got the steering gear on, and there are no leaks so far, I drove to town, and it works way better now.

    I can't help wondering what's next.

I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. :)

Worked in flower bed pulling weeds. Vacuumed, mopped and cleaned the whole house, except for room upstairs.
    A few vines off fence.
Did not feel like doing any of it,but I did.
I need to clean windows, wash screen on porch, and lots of other things, but I am out of energy.

It's a beautiful day today, I've been busy pulling all the piles of limbs that Marie and I have stacked up, from the storms, we've had, and the vines we've cut and then dragging them to the field. The truck is doing fine now and pulls it easy. I watered all the gardens and fruit trees. I need to start on the new strawberry patch soon. All in all, this day is going pretty nicely so far. I brought Molly into the bathroom this morning, she's not walking as well, and wouldn't eat either, "yet today", not sure about her, just trying to make things easy for her.

Hope things are good for you, today. :)

Our little wrens are leaving the nest for last several hours. We keep watching the mom call them into the woods, but 6 of them perch on screen till 4 flew off, one is still om screen.
They have been nesting on porch for past 20 years now, so guess the babies come back when grown.

The photos, of four of them and the nesting box we put up for them. I just watched the last one fly to the swing set and Mother guiding it to the woods with the rest of the siblings. :)

Did get started on the strawberry patch today, double dug, and next I will mix compost and then water deep, before planting new plants. Here are a couple of photos.

We have a Crape Myrtle that came back to life after 15 or so yr.s.
I watered it, put leaves around the base, cut down a small tree to cover it and hold down mulch,
Pulled it down, stood on it while I cut the limbs off, when I cut it it zoomed past my head and face,. That could have really injured me, but I got lucky and a reminder to be careful.
Hope the Crape Myrtle continues to grow into a nice little tree.

Another day halfway gone, took photos of strawberries that I planted with compost, filled each hole with it, put them in the new bed, Molly in the bathroom, and Foxy and Leo on the porch. They're fixing to take a bath, and a couple of the tomatoes, while I was outside. Hope all is well with you. :)

She gets stuck getting up in bed sometimes, so I help her back up.

Have to brush these 2 hairy dogs then bath them. Jake brought Molly down the steps and she ealked around the yard with me for about 10 minutes, then she was tired. She leans on me while I hold her up under her belly to rest. She ate p-nut butter cracker. Yesterday she ate chicken, sweet potato in butter] she and I split baked sweet pot].

I just brushed Scooby Do and The Road Runner, yard full of hairs. Now Jake is bathing them so I'll have a bathroom to clean, sterilize.

Done bathing them at the same time in the tub, little Foxy still howls like I'm killing her at times, while Leo stays quiet.

Fed Molly two hamburgers, and she ate it all. So I'm gonna take a little break for a few. :)

I'm off to start this morning early, at 4 am, woke up, so I just got up. Figuring out what I will do today, I know grass will need cutting sometime today after it dries out some. Need to tend to plants, clean the front porch, and repair things around here that need attention.

I did trim up the dogs' claws yesterday, after their baths. They seem to feel better about it, and they don't like having their nails done at all. Appears to me, that there's as much for anyone to do, even after retirement.

Hope everyone's, "day goes well". :)

Not so bad today, took care of animals, got plants watered, and cut grass in the front and back yard, had to move the truck, Van, and boat, but it's done now. Hope your day was good also. :)
