I recommend these lanterns. The batteries recharge so you don't have to keep buying them & they light up a large room for several hours. They'll also charge your phone.

My only concern is how long it will be out. My insulin has to be kept cold. The longest the power was out here was around 6 hours, which is OK as long as I don't open the fridge often. I have medication coolers that will keep things cold for 16 hours, so I'm not very concerned.

Thanks for the info. My sister just had a cataract procedure in one eye & is due for the the other eye in a few weeks. I'm not there yet but will probably be there in a few years. Good info to know in case it happens.

It's 107 here today. I like it. I don't use the air conditioner in my house or car unless I have company. It's 100 upstairs & I'm fine. Ever since weight loss 10 years ago, I'm only bothered by cold - anything under 80. No insulation, I guess.

All that is needed to see animal abuse is eyes that function. That is what is so troubling to supporters of such "Entertainment." And denial is not just a river in Egypt.
