Solar lights in the yard and garden

Both Bobby and I love the pretty solar lights out in the yard in the summertime, and we usually get some from the Dollar Store or Walmart to put out along the sidewalk and by the flowers out front.
Since I have become a Recognised Reviewer for Walmart, I have been able to get some pretty solar lights just for taking pictures and writing a nice review of the product.

The latest ones I got look like a hyacinth or maybe a gladiola, and in pretty colors in the daytime, and at night the solar lights come on in colored lights along the stem of the flower.
We have them along the sidewalk going out to the driveway, and they look so beautiful and add so much color at night.

We sent solar light's to my daughters and my best friend I love them too.

I like them the last ones we bought had a spider pattern effect ….but they don't seem to last very long ….bit disappointing
A big issue is water infiltration and corrosion. With a little devotion (effort) many of them can be hardened a bit against the weather. One trick is wide, clear tape covering the solar cell surface - including the gap around its edge. Even better, if there is a small switch you can open the thing up with care and bridge out the switch with solder. Those switches are incredibly poorly made and corrosion tends to get inside them quickly. There is usually a fat button cell or AA and those can get corroded as well. Sometimes clear nail varnish on their contacts does the trick. Even drilling drain holes at the lowest point can help.
