I learned years ago, always look around and have a plan on how to get back up before you get down on the floor.

My knees do that to me all the time, too, especially when I am bending over to pick up something, or just working in the garden. It just goes, click-click-click, like it is trying to find the right place. It doesn’t hurt, but I am never sure if it is going to keep working or not.
