Fur, fin, feathers, and flowers

Some of them were taken from a feeder just outside my kitchen window. Some of them were taken using the zoom on my camera.... Actually, looking at them, all of these were on feeders just outside my kitchen window. Others that I will post were taken with the zoom.

Very nice bird pictures, Shirley! My neighbor has a bird cam and she mostly gets cats, squirrels, foxes, and raccoons on her cam... and a few birds. She is always sending pictures to me. Her husband hasn't mounted the bird cam yet. It's still on the ground.

What’s in the string bag @Shirley Martin that the birds are eating

We don’t have many colourful birds in Southern Australia, they are either white or black …..or just black and white
or a pink and grey galah , we do see flocks of wild budgies if you get out in the isolated bush far enough ..they are all green with a little yellow on them .

parts of New South Wales and Queensland is home ….to most colourful birds in Australia including blue fairy wrens

Northern territory has a large black cockatoo with inner red tails , ( can only see the red part when they fly ) they are beautiful

It is homemade suet, @Kate Ellery. I put it in an onion bag. I like to repurpose things whenever I can.

My Two For the Price of one rose bush. I took these pictures yesterday. The Peace rose was grafted onto some kind of old rose bush. The old rose bush sent up sprouts. I cut them off for a while, but they kept coming back. I finally decided that it they want to live that bad, I would leave them. The old bush only blooms once in the spring but it is truly beautiful while it is blooming. Plus it smells like rose bushes used to smell, ummm.
The Peace rose bush blooms from spring 'til almost Christmas.
