What Are You Doing Today?

I taking my husband in for his second cataract surgery. It is at 10:30 this AM. I thought that was kind of late since I had to be at the surgery center at 6:30AM for both of mine. He is going to be hungry since he wasn't to have anything to eat or drink after midnight. Just like Gremlins; don't feed them after midnight.:D

Then there is some laundry to do again today. I am always doing a load of laundry of some kind.

I am trying to make my husband make a decision on what cake or pie he wants for his upcoming birthday so I can go hunt down the ingredients. He thinks he has narrowed it down to a carrot cake or some cinnamon rolls this year.
 
I haven't done one useful thing today and have no plans to do anything other than my walk and posting notes everywhere so I don't forget my doctor appointment tomorrow. I am still traumatized over forgetting the last one. I know the young reception lady is waiting and ready to give me :poop:. Paybacks are hell and she will become the 👿👺.

Did the usual house rally and my circles daily check in texts. A couple of fresh stitches on my forehead but I have to wash my waist long hair as dry shampoo does not do the trick.
 
Busy day today but not much accomplished. Folded some laundry that had made entirely too many "warm up" cycles in the dryer. I cleaned out some flower pots, then went to the garden center and bought a few flowering annuals to plant in them.

I finally found a box of Minute Tapioca at Walmart. I checked the website before I left and it said it was available on aisle A-14, so away I went. I walked down the pudding aisle and found ONE SINGLE BOX of Minute Tapioca. I feel like I need to buy a lottery ticket.

Just let him come up with the idea that he gets what he wants.
 
Physical therapy, old friend camped out and we gossiped up a storm, laundry, the next 100 onion sets are in the ground. I watched a young pair of ring neck doves do their court dance on top of the fence. All I can do is wish the couple the best of luck and offer plenty of food and water.
 
Today I spent almost 4 hours trying to find out why my grocery delivery was cancelled and why I was being charged a 'customer relation fee' on my reorder and getting technical help all with customer service. Now I have to wait for delivery tomorrow.

I also figured out a hack for my Roku tv which stopped responding to the remote. I simply installed a Roku device from another tv to an open HMDI whatchamacallit. Works fine.(y)
 
Nothing yet. It is a beautiful morning, warm, no wind, and I cannot think of one reason why I shouldn't get out and do some yard work, but yet, here I sit burning daylight with total disregard. I haven't even changed my clocks yet. This is the first time I can ever remember, that I didn't change them Saturday night.

It doesn't seem to bother me that the computer say 8:18, but my big wall clock says 7:18. I am sure glad the stolen hour taken last fall, was returned this morning. ;) Nothing better than happy endings. :LOL:
 
We had over 4" of rain overnight with lots of thunder and lightening. My husband went over to his sister's house to play dominoes and get caught up on family gossip so I was alone for a few hours. The power blipped and while resetting the time on all the electric clocks and 7 Aerogardens I went ahead and set them ahead for one hour, anticipating the time change.

Well, that was wasted time because in a little while another round of storms rolled through and the power blipped again. 🤬 I just left them all blinking and went to bed. It was a good night for sleeping.

Did you try rebooting your Roku tv? Unplug the power from it for several seconds and pull the remote batteries for several seconds. I do this at least weekly to my Roku devices.
