World's longest commercial flight successfully touches down at Sydney Airport. Ok you Americans no more excuses that my country is too far to travel to.
I think it would have more to do with the cost of the ticket than the length of the trip. Especially for those of us living on the east coast because our trip would also have to include getting to California. If I had the money, I would do it though. I think Australia is just beautiful and interesting!!
I have made three trips to Oz , but always from New Zealand. Quantas and Air New Zealand are good airlines with great service.
This was from New York to Sydney not the West Coast so why the need for a California hop from Florida? In time fares will drop as fuel becomes cleaner and cheaper and other contingencies make travel from your country to mine easier.
Australia and New Zealand are among the countries I'd love to be able to visit, but won't ever be able to do so, because of the costs involved.
The minimum flight time from London to Sydney is 21 hours with one stop...and can take more than 24 hours with alternate airlines..
Check out Air New Zealand Ken. They run special rates certain times of the year to attract tourists. LA to Auckland 10 hours.
You can fly direct from London to Perth flight time 16 hours. I go to Las Vegas a lot direct flight time 10 plus hours. Which is to long . So get on plane drink two SMALL red wines and fall asleep and wake up and hour before the plane lands. Think 19 hours is a bit to much
Yes but Perth is still 4000 miles from Sydney... so 16 hours plus another 4,000 miles..would be way over 19 hours....waaaayyy too long.
