Good morning everyone! 104 today. Just packing for my trip tomorrow, am glad I'm not going to be alone because it's the 2nd anniversary of my mom's death. I was out already cause I wanted to get a little cut off my hair and a blow out so my hair looks decent tomorrow and should last to Tuesday. I never go get anything done in Fresno but how badly can they mess up cutting long hair?. I thought they opened at 9 but had to come home because the sign said 10 even though the website said 9. Stopped to top off my car with gas and washed my windows. Hope everyone has a good afternoon or evening...only morning here and maybe Alaska.
Ken, it hit 70 here the last two days, and last night was the first to stay above 40 all night--it got to 41 this morning. Our forecasts are never correct. We have to go by Anchorage forecasts, but it is warmer here in the warm seasons, and colder in the cold seasons, as we are not tempered by the water. From the looks of things, it will be about the same today as the last few days. One of our large gardens is planted and the second is started. It is bright and sunny, so life is pretty good. Last summer, we had a couple of days of 100-degree temperatures but most summers, it rarely gets above the 80s.
Waiting......not for the perfect man but the perfect cut. . Maybe if I hiked my dress up on both sides I could have hooked one....lots of men in there today. The topic of conversation was gambling...looks like quite a few people were at the local casinos last night and won big. One guy is going to Vegas today with his wife...40 yr anniversary.
That's the problem @Don Alaska ....I want my late husband. ( He wasn't perfect...just perfect for me.
Good morning everyone! 100 in Fresno today, 68 by my daughter's. Big difference. Tomorrow will only be a high of 60 there, graduation will be chilly. Glad I packed accordingly Today is also the 2 year anniversary of my beautiful mother's death. Oct.10, 1932- June 4, 2016. If my kids think I was a great mother, they should have seen her...the best...she was my role, model and I fell short of her. Anyway, I'm leaving very early today...my daughter wants me there around 9:15 am...don't know why but I woke up to that text. Probably wants to go somewhere. I'm up and can leave then but dreading the rush hour traffic and being Monday all the semis hit the road also it seems.
Good Morning...yesterday I found these beautiful flowers in our yard just "begging" for me to take their picture...so I did. It was so hot yesterday that my Honey actually spent most of the afternoon indoors with me. I even caught him catnapping a time or two. Wish I could do that but as long as there is daylight my eyes refuse to shut. May God bless our week and provide all we need for each day of it.
I made it...daughter was surprised to see me so early!! Traffic was good...think I'll always leave at the crack of dawn. We are going to the mall soon.
