Yes I know about Monarch ( I used to work for Monarch once upon a time ). We've used EJ for the last few years out of LLA closet to home.....hate RA , but the budget airlines are out of the same bottom feeding barrel , but I'm too tight to pay for a more expensive flight much as I hate EJ et al....
Good morning everyone, 100 degrees today...ugh. @Holly Saunders ...I don't think IVe ever been anywhere that didn't have a printer ....but you will then have to check in when you get to the airport but I like a guaranteed seat. There are some airlines here where you can't even print a boarding pass ahead of time...think I couldn't when I was going to Maui.
I have used EasyJet a few time over the years and they seemed to have improved of late, my daughters use Ryanair a lot because they are often going to Dublin, and say they are OK, as long as you abide by their ever changing complicated baggage size/allowance rules.
This morning I'm thinking about flowers so I thought I'd share some flower paintings...and here they are. Wishing you beautiful things today.
We have been getting ready for our next trip to the the country, which is tomorrow morning, Lisa has been at work this afternoon and I have cooked several meals of pork and chicken, and chilled them to take with us, because cooking there is very limited at the moment. The refurbishment of the Dacha has been extended to include an attic room, which hasn't been used for about 40 years, it only needs cleaning up and repainting really, plus maybe a bit of wiring. Have a great day..... A few dacha paintings...
The way you're fixing it up, once Lisa retires would you consider moving there full time instead of the apt? @Terry Page. Or is it too boring in the winter??
No @Chrissy Cross it's too cold in winter often down to -25c (-15F), plus it's often cut off by heavy snow, though a few old babushkas do survive, though they are pretty tough breed ............... I doubt Lisa will ever retire, her old teacher worked until a year before she died at 93, plus you can't survive on the pension here, which is why old people line the streets selling produce from their gardens, and old family heirlooms.
It might be the country of origin or destination that dictates how far in advance you can print boarding passes. I don't know since I haven't flown internationally in some time (2008), but I believe in the U.S. 24 hours is the limit. Maybe within the EU it is 30 days. Terry flies between the UK and Russia.... Just guessing.
Looking on the internet, there are complicated reasons for keeping it at only 24 hours in advance, mainly historic because before online check-in you could usually only do it at the airport, plus tickets sold by agencies only actually pay the airline when you check in. Easyjet and other budget airlines handle their own payments directly, so have more control. In my experience 24/30 hours is the norm in all of Europe and most other countries I have visited on non budget airlines.
Seeing these clay pots reminds me of a friend who lived in the front Cottages for a while. She was always doing arts and crafts and made quite a few from clay pots. So today I'm sharing some crafts you can make with these pots beginning with a whole pot family and some pets for them. These flower pot crafts made nice gifts and of course look great in any garden area. You can also just paint your flower pots. So for some of you who might be looking for something new to try your hand at...this might interest you.
