I would think you would be able to wait until you go to your daughter's to change your oil @Chrissy Cross. How's your PT going?
Even with the 157 mile drive to my daughter's?? PT is going slowly. My last appt hurt. Have appts Tuesday and Thursday.
The light should give you time enough to get there and is probably a reminder because of miles traveled on the odometer, as opposed to there actually being an issue with your oil. What I would recommend is to check your oil and see if it is low, and if it is a quart or more low, then add oil. If it is less than a quart of oil low, then it should be fine to drive to your daughter’s and get it changed there. If you are not sure how to check your oil, go to a gas station that can check it, or one of those places that change oil, like Firestone, and ask them to check it for you. You have a very new car; so it should not be using much oil, and is probably just due for an oil change because you have driven the 3,000 miles /3 months since your last oil change.
Thanks @Yvonne Smith ..yes I think Ive driven 3,000 miles since my last change and definitely 3 months. I'll have to look when I got it changed last. Every time I went to my daughter's I was going to have it done but didn't. Guess I'll go to Firestone here...they used to work on my old Altima but Ive always had the oil change and tire rotation with this car in Monterey. I don't drive too many miles in Fresno, it's the trips to my daughter's that add up the miles. Looks like this week is going to be the pits. Car, PT, mammogram, PT again. Lol, so far Friday is open..what will happen??
Weird coincidence but my daughter has a mammogram the same day I do. She's nervous about it though because she has dense tissue and she always gets a call back. This year they do a mammogram and a scan or some other test, I forget. Anyway she was telling me that her old OB-GYN's daughter just had a mammogram 9 months prior to just being diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer!!! That's on her mind...on this test I'm stressing more about my daughter than my test...not really anxious about me...for once.
Good morning from a sunny cold Worcester at 3c, I didn't sleep too well so have been dozing till now... 9am. We had our hour back last weekend and I mislaid it somewhere, so never made any use of it ................it's certainly gone for good now, and they will want to rob me of another one next year I will down a few coffees and come back later....... enjoy your Sunday when it comes....
Good morning! I woke to a frosty one here, our first one of winter, it will soon warm up though as 12c with some sun is forecast later. I need to start sorting out stuff to take with me for my Christmas trip to Russia. I have bought Lisa a new camera as the main present, the last one I bought her is worn out now. I take a Christmas Pudding, Devon custard and mulled wine plus other foods that are not available there. .............Enjoy this fresh new week......
After a frosty start it turned into a beautiful sunny day, so I walked into Worcester and bought a few Christmas filler presents for Lisa, plus a bag of chocolate gold coins, and a children's chocolate advent calendar (Lisa loves anything chocolate) There were a couple of Peruvian pan pipe players in the High Street so I took a short video.......

Good morning peeps! Chilly morning, yesterday I actually turned on the heat for the first time while I showered and then turned it off again. Probably wouldn't have but I was washing my hair which adds extra time to my shower. Have PT this morning and then some errands. I'm getting up too early with this time change, makes for a long day.
