Gary who was a friend to all of us on here , has passed suddenly at home in his sleep....age 71 We can only pray that he died in peace and with no Pain... We will all miss you Gary, R.I.P..... thoughts go with Gary's wife and family in their loss
I was so shocked to hear of Gary’s death. I left a small comment on the online site that the funeral home provided. I know his family will not have a clue as to who I am, but I thought it was important to let them know that he had friends at the site he spent so much time at. I didn’t always agree with his opinions, but I welcomed his different views on things. I also enjoyed dueling with him in the music thread. He took me back in time with his choices. I know I along with many will miss him.
Paging through some old un-read posts today, I came across one of Gary's wonderful comments. My heart sank, as I realized I cannot answer him. Because he's gone. Almost had tears over this, a guy I could relate to, a real MAN. Why? In response to one of his posts, I had used a rather poor choice of wording, I knew it at the time, and thought afterward it might have offended him. I PM'd him, asking if I had been offensive to him. As a true Viet Nam Vet would have responded: "FU*K NO"! That's all he wrote. I miss his presence dearly........Frank
