It has long been a contention of mine that when it comes to teaching kids how to play,(among other things) one need not worry because kids do most of the teaching to other kids. My point in fact is found in the following video. http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Toddler-Helps-Baby-Brother-Escape-Crib-Nanny-Cam-427475633.html Do please enjoy........................
Yeah, I was waiting for someone to go "butt over tea kettle" but thankfully things didn't come as a statistic rather than a good, wholesome video.
This is so cute. I experienced this with my almost 2 year old granddaughter. After I had layed her and big sister down for a nap I was in my room watching a movie and she appeared in the doorway just smiling away - like hiya, grandma. I thought big sister helped her out of the crib but she was asleep. So I stood by the door to see for myself how she got out and sure enough like a gymnast her little leg flung over the crib top then she pulled herself up and over landing on the queen size bed I had for that 'just in case' incident. I learned a long time ago to never underestimate what a child is capable of doing or even saying. Those little eyes and ears are always watching and listening they just have to get those little bodies to cooperate.
